Two Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Utica, NY and Williamsport, PA origin, circa 1885, a two-gallon jar with brushed and slip-trailed leaf design, stamped "WHITE & WOOD"; paired with an ovoid jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "SIPE & SONS / W'MSPORT PA". White & Wood jar with heavy chipping to interior of rim, two chips to exterior of rim, chips to one handle, a short line from rim, and a few minor flakes near base. Williamsport jar with exfoliation to side and reverse, as well as some discoloration to surface.
