Sewer Tile Lion Doorstop, Ohio origin, late 19th or early 20th century, molded figure of a lion reclining on a rectangular base with scalloped edge on front and back. Heavily-incised detail to mane. Incised detail to face, which includes unusual balled clay eyes with pierced lashes below. Provenance: Robert Meltzer Collection. Base chips. L 9 1/2".
