Two Western PA Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, circa 1875, a canning jar with stripe decoration, paired with a one-gallon jar with cobalt fuchsia and stripe designs. Canning jar with heavy chipping on interior of rim and a small chip to inner wax sealer rim. One-gallon jar with a tight Y-shaped line in underside, extending 2 1/2" up base, a 4" horizontal surface line near base, and some shallow chipping to base. H (of canning jar) 8 1/4".
