Four Molded Stoneware Bottles, all probably W. Smith, Greenwich, NY, circa 1840, one with brushed cobalt X, stamped "WHH"; one with brushed cobalt X, stamped "A STEINMETZ"; one with cobalt stripe around neck, stamped "GREEN & CLARK"; and one stamped "DR. CRONK'S / SARSAPARILLA / BEER". Provenance: Property of a New York State collector. "WHH" bottle in excellent condition. "A STEINMETZ" bottle with chips to interior of spout and heavy in-the-firing chipping to base. "GREEN & CLARK" bottle with some glazed-over, in-the-firing roughness to top of spout. Dr. Cronk's bottle with spout chips, base chips, and heavy wear to surface. H (of Steinmetz bottle) 10 3/8".
