Unusual Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, Berks County, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in manganese and cream-colored slip with a brushed and slip-trailed design featuring grape clusters or flower blossoms. Large area of restoration along rim area. A few rim chips. A large flake and thin crack to interior. Other small flakes to interior. Some staining to interior. Diameter 7 7/8".
