Unusual Glazed Redware Fish Mold, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1840-1880, with squared, split-tail form, heavy scaling to body, and two circular eyes, the surface decorated with streaks of manganese over a mottled olive and orange ground. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a sixty-year private collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. L 11 3/4".
