Miniature Glazed Redware Jug, Dated 1861, American, 1861, ovoid jug with footed base and heavily-ribbed handle, the surface decorated with manganese, copper, and cream-colored slip highlights, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Underside incised with the large date, "1861". Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Wear to spout and handle. Heavy chipping to base. H 3 1/4".
