One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Enoch Burnett, Washington, D.C., circa 1850, ovoid-bodied pitcher with flared collar, decorated around the body and collar with a brushed swag and hanging flower motif. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. In-the-firing salt residue to handle. Spout chips. A 1 1/2" chip to interior of rim where spout meets body. A 1 3/8" rim chip on reverse. Crack on underside, continuing up side of pitcher and curving onto front and midsection. Some typical in-the-firing flaws to surface.
