Two Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitchers, Crawford County, GA origin, second half 19th century, both of ovoid form with tooled accents, the smaller example with an olive-colored alkaline glaze, the larger example with dark-olive alkaline glaze. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of smaller pitcher) 8 3/4".
