One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with squared rim and applied tab handles, decorated on each side with a large brushed tulip. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with an in-the-firing contact mark to one side.
