Glazed Redware Lidded Coffee Pot, North Carolina origin, circa 1930, wheel-thrown coffee pot in a pewter-style form, including a spurred handle and large pouring spout. Original lid features an acorn-shaped finial. Surface covered in a clear glaze over an olive-colored ground with orange spotting throughout. Provenance: The Stradlings; Purchased from J.W. Friedland in 1974. Pitcher with spout chips and some in-the-firing dryness to surface. Lid with tiny chips and light wear. H (including lid) 9 1/2".
