Unusual Diminutive Glazed Redware Bowl with Two-Color Slip Decoration, possibly North Carolina origin, early to mid 19th century, with rounded sides and semi-rounded rim molding, the interior decorated with bold spattering of manganese and cream-colored slip. Underside incised "II". Excellent decoration and size. A crack from rim, extending across underside. Minor edge wear. A small chip to underside. H 1 1/2" ; Diameter 5".
