Unusual Three-Gallon Stoneware Advertising Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHEELER'S / HAMMONDSPORT WINE CELLAR / HAMMONDSPORT, NY", third quarter 19th century, squat-shaped jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed floral motif. Cobalt highlights to impressed advertising and capacity mark. Small flakes to right side of jug.
