Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Slip-Trailed Floral Decoration, Stamped "W.H. FARRAR & CO. / GEDDES, N.Y.," circa 1860, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a folky floral motif consisting of a daisy plant with three large, spotted blossoms. Leaves decorated with outlines and curving lines on the interior. Script "3" to left of decoration. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Height 15 1/4".
