Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "C.L. WILLIAMS / & CO. / NEW GENEVA. / PA.", circa 1890, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a freehand stripe and two small, stenciled foliate motifs above C.L. Williams maker's stenciling. Base with freehand "2" flanked by dashes above a freehand stripe. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
