Two-Gallon Albany, NY Stoneware Advertising Jug, New York State origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "Cushman & Co / 376-378 Broadway / Albany / N.Y.". Cobalt highlight to capacity mark. A 2" vertical line at base on front, connecting to an approximately 3 1/2" X-shaped line on underside. A minor nick on interior of spout. A few in-the-firing iron pings to surface.
