Fine Miniature Redware Plate with Elaborate Slip Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, heavily-decorated with four trails of wavy yellow slip stripes. Slip-decorated redware plates of any size are difficult-to-find in such well-preserved condition. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Light wear to edge and interior center. Diameter 4".
