Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American, circa 1870-1880, a canning jar with the stenciled cobalt signature, "A.P. Donaghho, / Fredericktown. / Pa."; paired with a half-gallon jug, stamped on the reverse "MILLER & DAVISON / STRASBURG, VA.". Canning jar with a 2" hairline from rim, a small in-the-firing base chip, and a 3" line to end of stenciling. Jug missing handle. H (of canning jar) 8 1/4".
