Three Pieces of Catawba Valley, NC Stoneware, 19th century, an ovoid pitcher; a four-gallon churn, incised "4"; and a double-handled jug, impressed "5". All with different-colored alkaline glazes. Pitcher with one rim chip. Churn with small chips to handle. Jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a 1 1/4" piece of clay adhered to surface during the firing. H (of jug) 18 1/2".
