Scarce Stoneware Flask with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, flattened form with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed tulip on each side and a heavy cobalt highlight surrounding spout. One of a small number of decorated Baltimore flasks known. Excellent condition with some light surface wear to spout and a faint 1 1/4" surface line, not visible on interior, descending from rim. H 8 1/4".
