Fine and Extremely Rare Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1820, ovoid jar with footed base and flared rim, decorated around the shoulder with a slip-trailed daisy motif featuring stems with graduated leaves. Excellent form, size, and decoration. One of only two examples of its kind we are aware of. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with two small, in-the-firing contact marks to shoulder. H 6".
