Large-Sized Redware Bowl with Manganese Slip Decoration, Mid-Atlantic origin, early to mid 19th century, with tapered sides, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with straight and wavy bands of manganese slip. Wear to interior. A partially-colored rim chip. Wear to rim. Chips to handles. Exfoliation to underside. Some wear to exterior surface. H 5 1/2" ; Diameter 15".
