Redware Pitcher with Manganese Stripe Decoration, American, 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled shoulder, decorated with an unusual series of reverse-J-shaped stripes in manganese, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Heavy chipping to rim, including a 2 1/8" flake to interior of rim. Base chips. H 6 1/2".
