Glazed Redware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded rim, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a mottled dark-orange ground. Shoulder impressed with John Bell maker's mark. A faint 3 1/2" hairline from rim. A short minor surface line on underside, not visible on interior. H 5 3/8".
