Fine and Scarce Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical canning jar with wax sealer rim, decorated with a large brushed fuchsia blossom between freehand stripes. A small chip and a few minor nicks to interior of rim, as well as a tiny chip and minor wear to inner wax sealer rim. H 6 7/8".
