Unusual One-Quart Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Midwestern or Southern origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with flared collar, the surface covered in a light-colored Bristol slip, decorated with brushed flowering vines on each side of the collar. Heavy chipping to rim. Areas at base of collar where slip did not adhere properly to body. H 7 1/4".
