Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Fruit Basket Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.", circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, featuring a slip-trailed design of pieces of fruit within a crosshatched basket with open loop handles. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Two chips to interior of rim. A chip to one handle. A 2" surface line to front, not visible on interior. A few flakes to surface. Some short, faint lines to surface. Some flaking to Albany slip on interior.
