One-Quart Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled shoulder, and semi-squared rim molding, decorated with three brushed leaves around the body, swags at the rim and spout, and highlights to the handle terminals. Excellent size and unusual shape. Essentially as-made condition with some fry to cobalt and some salt residue to surface. H 7 1/4".
