Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Remmey, Jr., Philadelphia, PA, circa 1840, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, footed base, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a boldly-brushed design of fan-shaped flowers and leaves extending completely around the shoulder. Excellent condition with a minor base nick. H 8".
