Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stenciled "A. CONRAD. / MONONGAHELA / POTTERY. / NEW GENEVA / PA", circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, featuring Alexander Conrad maker's stenciling, a freehand stripe at the shoulder, a large stenciled number 3 flanked by arrow-shaped flourishes at the base, and cobalt highlights to the handle terminals. Excellent condition with adhesive residue to surface.
