Two Stoneware Jars, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, both of cylindrical form, coated in whitish slip and covered in a salt glaze, each impressed with a John Bell maker's mark at shoulder. Shorter jar in excellent condition. Taller jar with top-to-bottom crack from rim. H (of shorter jar) 6 1/8".
