Glazed Redware Pitcher, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, early 20th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base, heavily-ribbed handle, and coggled collar molding, decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, purchased by the consignors' parents decades ago. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor iron ping to bottom edge. H 7 3/4".
