One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Drape Decoration, Stamped "C. CROLIUS / NEW-YORK", Manhattan, NY, circa 1820, highly-ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt drape design around the shoulder. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 2" hairline at base. Light surface exfoliation to base on reverse. Very minor base wear.
