Unusual Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug with Pig's Snout, Incised "'HOG-NOSE' HOOPER", Signed and Dated "Cleater Meaders, Jr. / 1992," Cleveland, GA, 1992, double-handled jug with applied face including pig's snout and glass runs to eyes and mouth, the surface covered in a mottled green alkaline glaze. Incised "'HOG-NOSE' HOOPER" on reverse. Incised on underside "Cleater Meaders Jr. / 1992". Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 11".
