Unusual Multi-Glazed Redware Plate with Molded Foliate Pattern, probably Pennsylvania origin, fourth quarter 19th century, made from a majolica plate mold with relief designs of leaves and berries, the surface decorated with daubs of green and brown under a heavy lead glaze. Minor rim nicks and light wear to interior. DIameter 9 1/4".
