Rare Multi-Glazed Redware Hanging Flowerpot, probably Pennsylvania origin, fourth quarter 19th century, molded rustic-form flowerpot with relief bark, knot holes, and leaves. the surface decorated with streaks of green and brown over cream-colored slip. Original hanging holes below rim and original drain hole in underside. Wear to rim. Some glaze wear to base. Two short surface lines on exterior, not visible on interior. Wire hanger possibly a later replacement. H (of flowerpot) H 7 3/8" ; Diameter 11 3/4".
