Sewertile Figure of a Squirrel, probably Ohio origin, mid 20th century, finely-molded figure of a standing squirrel with arched tail, well-detailed fur, and hand-incised details to paws. Provenance: From a recently-surfaced collection of sewertile amassed during the 1960s and 1970s, many purchased directly from the potters themselves. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. L 12 1/4".
