Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, Western PA origin, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with ornately-formed collar and flared rim, decorated in Albany slip with a sweeping fuchsia vine across the body, leaf-like brushwork to the collar, and drapes around the rim. Albany slip stripe to base. Handle decorated with Albany slip dashes. Appealing size, form, and decoration. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5 1/2".
