Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Wax Sealer, Stenciled "RICHEY & HAMILTON / PALATINE W.VA.", circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and rounded wax sealer rim, featuring Richey & Hamilton stenciling within a banner-shaped stencil. Some faint crazing to reverse. Two short lines on underside. A minor nick to inner wax sealer rim. Some wear to cobalt. H 8 1/4".
