Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Thomas Haig, Jr., Philadelphia, PA, third quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar, the surface covered in a Bristol slip glaze and decorated with a large brushed tulip. Brushed cobalt stripe around rim. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: David Musser Collection. A filled chip on right side of spout. Some bubbling to Bristol slip on the handle and at base. Base chips. A partially-visible iron ping below spout.
