Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and lug handles, decorated front and reverse with a brushed two-stemmed clover design. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals with a curving line of cobalt underneath each handle. A 1 1/8" chip to interior of rim. A tiny handle chip.
