Two Pieces of Norton Family Stoneware, Bennington, VT origin, circa 1845-1875, a one-and-a-half-gallon cake crock with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT", paired with a two-gallon crock with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "JULIUS NORTON / BENNINGTON VT". E & L P Norton crock with staining, several small rim chips, a short line at base, and two small base chips. Julius Norton crock with exfoliation to right side and reverse shoulder area, as well as a 2" rim chip to side of crock.
