Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a parrot perched on a leaf. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 7 1/2" crack from rim on right side of crock's front. A small chip on interior of rim. A 7/8" chip to top of left handle. A small chip to top of right handle.
