Scarce Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Profuse Freehand Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Stenciled "Samuel Booker / Louisville, Ky.", circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with heavy straight and wavy freehand stripe decoration above and below the merchant stenciling, "Samuel Booker / Louisville, KY". Excellent condition with typical light wear on interior of rim. H 8".
