1 1/2 Gal. Stoneware Pitcher with Leaf Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, possibly Connecticut, circa 1820, ovoid pitcher with tall, narrow collar, decorated with a brushed cobalt foliate motif on the front and drapes around the collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A Y-shaped crack on underside, continuing 8" up reverse. A rim chip on reverse. A few in-the-firing contact marks to surface. A 1 3/4" hairline from rim on side of collar.
