Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, attributed to J.H. Miller, Brandenburg, KY, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with inner wax sealer rim, the surface decorated with circumferential stripes of slip-trailed cobalt. Chips and wear to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. An additional short crack to inner rim. A small chip to exterior of rim. H 7".
