Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "TYLER & DILLON / ALBANY", New York State origin, circa 1826-1833, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flared collar, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt "3" and cobalt highlights to the maker's mark. Several rim chips. A few shallow chips to underside. Inverted 2 3/4" Y-shaped surface line on interior, not visible on exterior. A very minor base chip on reverse, possibly in-the-firing.
