One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y.", circa 1885, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of crested bird with fan-shaped tail, perched on a stylized branch. Thin crack on underside, continuing 4" up reverse side of crock. A small handle chip. A small base chip. Some staining.
