Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, and squared rim, decorated with a series of brushed circumferential swag design. A few rim chips, one of which on the interior of rim is glazed over. A small base chip. A short hairline from rim. An in-the-firing iron ping to one side. Two in-the-firing contact marks to opposite side.
