Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, semi-ovoid jug with short spout and applied strap handle, the surface covered in a streaky whitish slip and overlying salt glaze. In-the-firing contact marks to shoulder and a shallow flake to shoulder on front, probably in-the-firing. H 9".
